Michelle Clark, MA, AT, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist providing evidence-based, group and individual psychotherapy to children and adolescents at Children’s Advocacy Services. Ms. Clark received her Master’s degree in Art Therapy Counseling at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. In her position at CASGSL, Ms. Clark provides treatment to clients who have been exposed to various types of trauma, including sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, domestic violence, community violence, and traumatic loss.
Ms. Clark’s clinical interests include assessment of trauma symptoms in early childhood, and for children who present with developmental delays, as well as Autism. Ms. Clark provides individual Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), and facilitates Problematic Sexual Behavior-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) group therapy for young children with sexual behavior problems.
